Please make sure to do your i-Ready practice over break!
Please do 90 minutes total- 45 in Reading and 45 in Math. Have a great break! The attachment contains definitions of literary and critical vocabulary and class discussion questions.
On Monday or Tuesday, we will be taking a test on "Remarks at the Dedication of the Aerospace Medical Health Center" by John F. Kennedy and "Why Exploring the Oceans is Mankind's Next Giant Leap" by Philippe Cousteau.

In addition to reading the articles, you should review any notes you have about evaluating argument. This is where to find information about upcoming assessments and projects as well as class notes.

Next week, you will choose a person or topic related to the Harlem Renaissance, do more research, and create a presentation to teach the class about your topic. Topics and people are first come, first served, so let me know when you figure out what you want to do. |
